Training

The Siberian Training Center in Tyumen aims to raise employees’ qualification and train them in advanced technologies under close-to-real conditions. Because of long experience and highly competent trainers, the Center ensures the transfer of a full range of theory and practical knowledge within the specified periods.

The Siberian Training Center contains 23 fully equipped classrooms which can accommodate 10 to 40 people, where classes in equipment operation fundamentals as well as the physical nature of measurements are held.

We place special emphasis on practical implementation of theoretical knowledge – even training in software is based on real well logging data. Therefore, students in the Training Center gain real skills and work experience that they can apply in their professional life.

In the Center’s workshop customer employees are trained in maintenance and troubleshooting of MWD/ LWD tools and rotary steerable systems. The Center also provides training in pre-trip inspections, programming, post-trip maintenance and tool state assessment for directional drilling and MWD/LWD specialists.

There is a drilling rig on the Center’s territory, which is fully equipped for various BHA configuration makeups and tripping to a depth of up to 700 meters.

The Center’s students are accommodated on a comfortable campus within a two-minute walk from the main building. The campus consists of 18 cottages and can lodge up to 324 people at a time.

Each room has a separate shower and sanitary facility, there is laundry service provided, and emergency response service is available around the clock to ensure students’ comfort and safety.

After busy training days, students can relax and recover in our Sports and Leisure Center.
